Jr. Linksters “JV” &”Varsity” Golf Teams

Welcome to the most exciting opportunity for Junior golfers in Bloomington/Normal, “Team” golf.  No this isn’t High School golf, this is Jr. Golf developed around the concept of “Team” sports.

The otherwise individual sport of golf can be intimidating and lonely for youths.  The Jr. Linksters “JV” & “Varsity”Golf Teams, at The Links, are designed to better socialize the game for boys and girls, ages 8-14.   The “JV” & “Varsity” Golf Teams are the ultimate option for local youth golfers to expand their skills while having fun with others their age.

Because of the success of The Links Jr. Golf Program, we are able to make this offer to Central Illinois youths.  Our “JV” & “Varsity” Golf Teams are open to as many as 60 youths/team.  Youths are then broken down into individual teams of 8-10 players that meet regularly for practice from April-May.  While the “JV” team does not compete on the course the “Varsity” team does.  The “best position/scramble” formatted competitions are less stressful than normal stroke-play, while the practice sessions are educational and fun.
