Jr. Linksters Golf Teams

Welcome to the most exciting opportunity for Junior golfers in Bloomington/Normal, “Team” golf.  No this isn’t High School golf, this is Jr. Golf developed around the concept of “Team” sports.

The otherwise individual sport of golf can be intimidating and lonely for youths.  The Jr. Linksters Golf Team, at The Links, is designed to better socialize the game for boys and girls, ages 8-14.   The Jr. Linksters Golf Team is the ultimate option for local youth golfers to expand their skills while having fun with others their age.

Because of the success of The Links Jr. Golf Program, we are able to make this offer to Central Illinois youths.  The Jr. Linksters Golf Team consists of nearly 60 youths divided among 6 separate teams.  Each team consists of approximately 10 youths ages 8-14.  Not only do teams meet regularly for practice, there are weekly competitions as well.  The 2-player “scramble” formatted matches  are less stressful than normal stroke-play, while the practice sessions are educational and fun.
